Jobs for Connecticut Now Launched in Hartford, CT

On Wednesday, April 8, Jobs for New England Now launched its first state chapter, Jobs for Connecticut Now. Jobs for Connecticut Now is committed to working with policymakers to find new ways to create jobs and spur economic development throughout the state. During the press conference, Jobs for New England Now Executive Director Paul Moran announced the group’s mission, goals and upcoming activities, and Jobs for New England Now Co-Chairs Stephen Bull and Tony Sheridan also participated in the event. Local businessman (and Jobs for Connecticut Now member) Richard Laurenzi spoke about his experiences as a Connecticut business owner and how the current business climate has negatively impacted his family-run manufacturing operation.

 

In the coming days, Jobs for New England Now will feature video clips, news coverage and interviews from the event.
